ArisHost Free Test Account Launched
ArisHost recently launched its free test account service for first-time
users of their enhanced domain registration services. The move was prompted
by the increasing demand for one-stop web site services, where a single
dotcom would handle everything from domain registration to hosting. The
test account would allow interested parties to access and evaluate ArisHost
services for 30 days. It would give them the advantage of viewing their sites
as if they were online, and easily upgrade into paid accounts.
According to an ArisHost official, "We understand how difficult it is for
clients to decide on which company to use for domain registration and web hosting.
There are so many prospective IT companies out there who are offering similar services.
How would a client know which of these would provide maximum up time, practical
payment schemes, and quality service? ArisHost is an established enhanced domain
registration company, which has an impressive roster of satisfied clients. But,
first-timers wouldn't normally know that unless our other clients referred them.
And even if they were referred, we understand that they might want to be particular
with whom they do business. We give them that choice, the ArisHost advantage, with
our 30-day test account."
ArisHost had been reputed as pushing domain name registration service to a higher
level by offering the usually more expensive hosting service for free, while practically
giving away domain names at $30 a year. Their new test account service further proves
their continued costumer-focused development.

The eCommerce Revival-Potential and Growth
Recent estimates peg a tremendous growth in eCommerce opportunity by the end of 2001.
A survey conducted by Datamonitor.com forecasts around $38.7 billion in eCommerce
revenue in the US alone despite the recent spate of dotcom deaths. According to
their consumer survey, most of the surviving dotcoms will be B2B commerce business.
They further reveal that revenue possibilities could be tenfold in hybrid transactions,
making the estimated billions just the start of eCommerce revival. Datamonitor.com
advises that opportunities are there for both dotcoms, and IT vendors that help
them maintain business.
The first quarter alone of this year attests to this potential. According to
the Census Bureau of the US Department of Commerce, the period has earned around
$7 billion in online sales, which is a 33.5 percent increase from the previous
year's first quarter earnings. This is supported by Reuters Business Insight,
which forecasts growth in B2C eCommerce by 2002.
ECommerce has immense market potential such that it is said to be the first
medium to actually have a truly global reach. It can effortlessly cross borders
through easy Internet access. Its advantages include low transaction costs and
entry barriers, and easy information access. It is also good that measures have
taken to break down the few obstacles to eCommerce, such as those concerning
infrastructure, trust, reliability and regulatory issues.

http://www.htmlgoodies.com/
This is a great web design and programming tutorial site for web masters and
wannabes alike. It is in itself a brilliant example of how a site should look
like-easy on the eyes, consistent layout and color schemes, and simple menu and
tab options. It is easy to navigate, and has logical internal and external links.
Htmlgoodies.com offers extensive html tutorials, as well as easy-to-follow basics
in Style Sheets, JavaScripting, Java Applets, CGI Scripting, DHTML/Layers, ASP and XML.
It also has reference pages for CSS properties, and JavaScript and VBScript keywords.
On the helm is web master Joe Burns, who has a Ph.D. Mass Communication, is an Assistant
Professor in Communication at Southeastern Louisiana University, and moonlights as a
site critic, consultant, and public speaker.
Our Site!
Our Site will soon come out regularly as a venue for ArisHost clients and
their sites. It will feature dotcoms and personal web sites, and hopefully foster
business (and otherwise!) relationships among ArisHost clients.
