On the Roll: the soon-to-be launched Client Referral Program
"Yes, we admit it's a marketing move. But we also have our clients in mind. We want
to bring them into ArisHost, and make them proactive with us. Our growth isn't just about us.
Its about clients who benefit from our increasing online community."
As fittingly explained by an ArisHost officer, the enhanced domain registration company will
once again offer something new. ArisHost is currently developing a Client Referral Program
where clients get real or virtual cash bonuses for their friends who sign-up. This means
that clients can get commissions without even being employed by ArisHost, or they can convert
their money into powered-up web hosting extras, like additional web space and the extension of
domain registration.
The Referral Program will be an attempt to foster involvement among ArisHost users. The domain
registration and web hosting business is cluttered with blatant promotions or misleading advertisement.
Having actual product users refer ArisHost will only be testament to the company's enhanced services.

The Beginning of a Web Animation Boom?
Looks like web design and animation standard Macromedia Flash ® is up for some competition with the
recent release of Toon Boom Studio Version 1.0. Although the new software is being built up
as a companion to old reliable Flash, its convenience and user-friendliness might just make
it the industry favorite.
Like Flash, Toon Boom is a vector-based, resolution-independent animation software. However,
its features allow a tighter control over drawing, 3d scene planning, lip synchronization,
optimized SWF rendering engine, and the elimination of repetitive tasks, such as repainting.
It is said to be capable of movie-quality 2d animation. Its makers, Toon Boom Technologies, Inc.,
is a Montreal-based animation company known for USAnimation, which is the movie animation software
used by DreamWorks.
Maybe the entrance of Toon Boom into web animation signals aggressive future developments in
web design and animation. In years after its release, Flash has easily become the standard,
as attested by several of its avid users and web design practitioners. New competition might
just nudge this giant into coming out with newer and more superior products.

This week's site is one of the best online resources on everything
and anything about web design and animation. The AWN Animation World Network
is one full-packed e-zine, with tons of features, columns, and tutorials. The selling-point
of the e-zine, in our opinion, is its commentaries and expert advice, as churned out by
AWN regulars/web design practitioners.

This is the online site of the Starkville Academy Band of Mississippi. It's a
simple community-centered website, but it gives us an intimate preview of the hard work,
and heart they've put into making the band. Founded in 1970 on D-I-Y clothes and seed
money from donations and chicken barbeque sales, the band has become an inspiration to
both parents and teens who love music.
